Consulting, engineering and manufacturing company serving the international greenhouse sector, established on the basis of NPO Pskovagroinnovation LLC.

ELGRO (LLC “ELGRO”) is a developer and patent holder of unique technological solutions in the field of hybrid illumination in light culture, combining scientific experience with industry knowledge. Together with leading industry experts such as: Institute of Agroengineering and Environmental Problems of Agricultural Production – branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM” (IAEP – branch of FGBNU FNAC VIM), Latvian Agricultural University, Riga Technical University (Department of Industrial Electronics and Electrical Technologies, Wageningen Agricultural University and Research Center, ELGRO develops and implements innovative greenhouse technologies in the field of additional illumination of light culture for growing vegetables, berries and flowers in greenhouses.

We offer patented innovative solutions in the form of hybrid irradiation units (GO), manufactured under the ELGRO brand, in which, along with traditional sodium lamps of upper illumination, various variants of LED correctors developed by us are used, and special LED lamps are used in the cenosis.

The developed variants of various GOS make it possible to provide photon irradiation levels up to the maximum values for today: up to 400 µmol/m2/s on the tops of plants and 120 µmol/m2/s in the cenosis, thus providing outputs to the target DLI values regardless of the level of current solar radiation.

For greenhouses of previous generations with a height of up to 4 meters, solutions are proposed that approximate the level of photon irradiation close to that existing in modern complexes, while the GO is calculated in such a way that no changes are required in the technology of cultivation by the temperature factor: it remains unchanged.
